Laura Montgomery is an Emmy Award-winning film and television costume designer based in Toronto, Canada.

Montgomery's costume design credits include the upcoming Peacock series The Miniature Wife starring Elizabeth Banks and Matthew MacFadyen, Oscar-nominated film The Apprentice, Matlock (CBS), Tokyo Vice (HBO Max), Gen V (Sony/Amazon), What We Do in the Shadows (FX), and Spiral.

Montgomery is three times nominated and has won one primetime Emmy and been nominated for four Costume Designer’s Guild awards. She holds an honours degree in French Literature and European History from the University of Toronto.

Born of Japanese and Scottish heritage, she combines a passion for authentic storytelling with a lifelong love of fashion and textiles. Her authentic and character-driven approach has made her work in demand with creative and cutting-edge projects.
